Quick Tech Take is written and presented by Rory Duncan, an IT industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience in the tech vendor and syndicated research markets. In the early 90’s, Rory worked in numerous business development, product management and market intelligence roles at companies such as IBM, SAP and Adobe Systems, before moving into industry analysis and consulting roles at leading firms such as 451 Research and IDC.

With a wide knowledge of both consumer and enterprise technology, Rory offers subject matter expertise in topics including cloud, datacenter infrastructure, service provider ecosystems and more. An accomplished presenter and speaker, he brings a unique approach to audience engagement, borrowing from his Scottish heritage and upbringing.
